Internet and Wifi
BROADBAND
The house has two separate 1GB broadband supplies: Community Fibre and Virgin Media
WIFI
Both broadcast WiFi around the house from their main routers at the top of the cellar. There is a second router for Community Fibre positioned outside the first floor bathroom
CABLE NETWORK
The house has a 100MB hard-wired cable network with an ethernet socket in each room connected to the Virgin router
You can plug a computer into the socket using an ethernet cable and so connect directly into the Virgin router. This may or may not be quicker than using the WiFi
If you experience a WiFi deadzone, we can install an access point via one of the ethernet sockets, which in turn re-broadcasts WiFi from the Virgin router
PASSWORDS
Passwords for all routers and access points [case sensitive] = rainbow45ER
